Every child is born with colourful wings, she’s different and rare, let her be ‘she’!
“History will judge us by the difference we make in the everyday lives of children.” ― Nelson Mandela!
Children have the potential to bring incredible change to this world and need constant encouragement to raise themselves as confident little humans. But first, we need to recognise their value. If God places a child before you, and you are too busy to wield either a positive or negative influence...you just did the latter! You communicated that the child doesn't matter and isn't important.
Every child is precious and every child is capable of feeling the spirit. All the minds and spirits that God ever sent into the world are susceptible of enlargement and most of all children lie in this category. Precious means rare, and that terms perfectly fits for a child, they are innocent little souls which need to be polished and made shine.
We very soon judge our kids based on their academic excellence or how well they answer our questions? But is it required? The answer to this is No, because every child is born with special qualities and is uncommon. No two individuals are exactly same, even the identical twins differ with each other..then why force them to be a person we want them to be? Let them be, them!
Everyday we need to make them understand that it’s okay to be different, it’s okay if you’re not good at academics, it’s okay if you cannot do this..or that.. It’s okay if you can’t be Sania Mirza, Sachin Tendulkar, or any big name. Teach them to be themselves and see how they could embark their names in history. We need to rejoice their successes and uplift them in their failures!
Cheers to our colourful personalities of children!
