In her teenage she realised how important it is to focus upon child safety and as a way to create awareness among parents about child sexual abuse, she initiated a program called kartavya and reached out to 500 parents in 2 years. After completing her formal education she joined Arpan, where she got the opportunity to reach a larger numbers of stakeholders. She has directly worked with children of all age groups as well as developed content to teach personal safety skills to adolescents. Presently she is working as an Assistant Manager at Arpan, where her role is to build capacities of relevant stakeholders so they too can participate in creating a world free of child sexual abuse.
