Exposure to sunlight to a new born is important? My flat is in ground floor so there is no balcony and for the sunlight I have to go out.

atleast 20mins is necessary.. hope sunrays will come in your home if you open windows or doors, even that rays helps lott.. if not then opt for terrace.. but it is necessary atleast for one month...
