1. Nobody is perfectionist.. Each one of us learn through our own experience.. Being mommy is not easy so do not stress yourself 2. Everyone seems to give you advice and instructions.. Do not follow blindly.. Trust your mommy instincts and follow what your doctor says. 3. It is Ok if you cannot complete your daily chores like laundary, cooking, cleaning.. Do not stress yourself.. You are not a super women.. Talk with your partner and distribute responsibilities or hire a help if you can. 4. Looking after a new born doesn't mean that you should ignore yourself. Eat well, sleep whenever you can.. Do not get indulge into binge or unhealthy eating habits. Remember a healthy mother can raise a healthy child. 5. Talk to your friends, family or seek medical counselling if you feel depressed. Post-partum depression is very common after pregnancy. It is completly normal to feel sad or gloomy for no reason.. Could be your pregnancy blues. 6. Follow the vaccination chart given by your paediatrician. 7. Please follow exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months. If you have any lactation trouble speak with your doctor. Exclusive breastfeeding is good both for mother and baby's health. 8. Last but not the least "be happy" you are a mother and welcome to the club
