For me, parenting is neither an easy task nor hard at all. First two years were so difficult for me. Then I learnt to handle the situation slowly. Like every mom, wife and daughter in law, I tried to get perfect in every role.
I stay with my in-laws. They have so many rules and regulations. I had to adjust according to them which was not at all possible. I got into depression and things started going off my hands.
My parents came home and started explaining to them that my husband also has a responsibility towards me and my kid. My in-laws were neglecting hubby's odd behaviour. They never tried to make him understand his responsibility.
Now after that incident my husband started taking care of me and my kid. He takes care of my kid when I work. He also spends time with the kid.
My child is very hyperactive and smart enough to understand. He is so active and caring. He started reading books and explained to me the stories. He sits beside me and encourages me when I feel low. Like I used to do when he was not well. I am so proud to have him as my child. I sometimes get strict with him but only for studies or his mischievous manners.
We need to take time out for our kids, not for spoon-feeding but to make them understand whether they are doing right or wrong. If they are doing something wrong don't punish them, try to explain them with example in kind and gentle words.
I am really enjoying motherhood and I am proud of spending time with him!
