Friend's childoo becomes my childoo's friend!!!
I'm at my parents' place for the summer. My friend from college (we studied journalism together in Baroda) lives in Ahmedabad and on Saturday travelled 74 kms to meet me in Anand. We hadn't met in 17 years (yeah - that's like half a lifetime for most people!!!!) and she just made this trip so we could catch up a bit. While we picked up from where we left, our daughters who happen to be of the same age (around 10) got along like a roof on fire!
They both talked the same way - used the same lingo - liked similar stuff... so much so that after an hour they both decided they wanted to do a sleepover! And before I knew it, my childoo took off with them!
My gosh, they had the time of their lives! My friend kept whatsapping me pix of the crazy stuff they did with slime (ewww) and all the fun they had in A'bad!
The next evening my friend and her hubby drove back to Anand to drop her and they were so sad to leave each other. Since we are in town for another month - we promised to meet again!
Isn't that amazing? How little kids meet for the first time and bond like they've known each other for years? Yes, I'm sure it's a lot to do with the single child syndrome - but still :)
Have you ever experienced this with a friend you haven't met in a while? Have you experienced this with a BabyChakra Mom & Childoo? What did you do on the weekend? Tell me all!
My wish - one day every mom has a #BabyChakraMomFriend and every childoo has a #BabyChakraFriendoo :))))
ps: We took this pic in Anand before they left.

Thanks for the tag @63729b593f31520016a69b80 . It was lovely reading your post. Surprisingly for kids things are never so complicated. They can gel easily with people they have never met. This weekend I took my kids to a play date with paint organized by Babychakra. We met many Momstars and 'kidstars' there and had a great time.
