Generally , want to know how many parents here went for stem cell banking/cord blood banking ..& for those who didn't, what convinced you not to go for it?

Hi Preeti, I have worked with a stem cell organisation, as per my experience, I don't think it is required by each n every parent. Only if there is any history of blood related genetic disease in ur family, one can opt for this. And, in case the 1st baby is having any blood related problem then parents can choose for banking stem cell of their 2nd baby which can be used for the treatment of 1st baby. For rest, there is still not much advancement in India and its too costly.
