. . ❤️ GIVING HER THE FREEDOM! ❤️ . . To explore, experience, choose and enjoy the things she wants to do, is what I try. . It’s not easy to be that patient and I am learning to stay calm. To accept and respect my little being’s choices. 😅 I am not saying I am gonna give in to all her demands and spoil her silly. But then those little things which don’t hurt, don’t harm - we can still be a little chilled about right? . She is very very clear about what she wants to wear now. Either there is a meltdown when I feel it’s a complete fashion disaster or I just let it be when it’s doable. 😂 Funnily her class teacher influences her hairstyle more than me now. 🙈 I have just made peace with it 😀. Right from books, activities, songs to listen to - she decides for herself, which is good & much more fun. . And all those times when things do get complicated 😋, I help her with some options to decide on her own. So we both are at peace! 😊 . . Ofcourse I do intervene when we are not getting anywhere. But I try and let her take those decisions. It definitely builds her confidence and makes her happier. 🙂 . . I put myself in her shoes and then it’s so much more easier for me to understand her better. Also, a little encouragement and being more open can really help them be independent, develop their unique personalities and think for themselves. It’s so much better to have a mind of your own than rely on others. . . What’s your take on giving your kids some freedom & striking a balance while doing so? . . , #childbehavior#BBCreatorsClub
