Goddess pose is an excellent exercise to open up the hips as well as strengthen the pelvic muscles and legs. It’s a simple and easy exercise that helps you to prepare for the labor/ delivery day.
Instructions:
- Stand straight with your legs wide apart.
- Turn your heels in and your toes facing outwards with your knees tracking in the same direction as your knees.
- Support your belly with your hands and continue breathing normally.
- Gently sink your hips as low as your knees.
- Hold the position for 1 min.
- Repeat the same 2-3 times.
Note: Any kind of exercises performed during pregnancy should be done under the guidance of an expert and with the concerned doctor’s permission.
