Good morning mommies.my son is now 5years old, he does potty in standing position only not ready to sit on western toilet
.I teaches him every day and training him but he doesn't listen. He wants to stand only. Pls advice me how should I train him.

pls try to look for potty training vids online. that might encourage him.

hi anon. this is not uncommon. many kids think they will fall the pot. or dont like the idea that they are sending their potty down somewhr. i will share what worked for us: i bought her an attractive potty seat which was cushioned and had handles at the side. the print was of a friendly giraffe so giraffe became her friend :) with great difficulty we convinced her to sit on it and then she realised she wudnt fall :) my childoo was also constipative so standing was easier for her to apply pressure. she started holding onto giraffe's handles and that solved that problem. good luck. tc.
