Aah! Talking about grandpa’s and grandma’s stories is something I would tell my growing kids each day. The positive influence that grandparents can have on our children is undoubtedly profound isn’t it? By their little gestures of love,care ,guidance, imparting wisdom, passing on traditions, and making memories etc. They leave behind so much for their grandchildren to value for the rest of their lives.My girl Simra is truly blessed with maternal and paternal grandparents Alhamdulillah!

Grandparents are valuable because they have many stories and experiences from their own lives to share and our little ones spend so much time with them. They can undoubtedly be our children’s best friends and their love keeps them grounded.

Would like to share few aspects in which Simra’s life is influenced by her grandparents :

• Her grandparents talk about their past and ancestors. Talking about them they transfer knowledge and help in understanding relations.
• They often transfer knowledge about customs and culture of their time, by telling stories, giving recipes, talking about the family tree etc.
• Unconditional love and support significantly benefits her in contributing to the development of self-esteem!
• They truly are a source of stability and safety by giving advice in various situations through their experiences. And I do not worry much when she is with them!
• By teaching important moral values to instill throughout her life!
