I asked the same question to my pediatrician..he said no need to clean... if you wish then you can clean with a finger brush after baby grows a little.

it's ok not to clean..but if u want as <font color ="#3b5998"><b> @6372d8dd17d2c800158d9008 </b></font>said use finger brushes.... when teething starts, it will be helpful to massage the gums with finger brush.

once u start seeing the signs of teething, start using a finger brush to clean the gums n tongue.. that's wat I was told when I asked the doc about it.

it's okay not to clean it. however if you are concerned, use a clean hanky and dip it in Luke warm water and clean it
