Guys, I was nursing my baby every 2-3hours and sometimes even more.. on demand....The feeds last even an hour late nights and sometimes 20-30mins during the day.; Am I doing it wrong? The paed I met today Says to feed only post 2-3 hours and nurse only for 15 minutes and not more at all?
Their stomach is too small they may not require more than twenty, they just try to soothe them by sucking it will become an habit. Try to hug, keep the baby near you, warmth is all that they require.

Hi<br>
Rupa I suggest you feed the baby for max twenty minutes dear otherwise if they consistently suck and no Milk they may gulp on air which Could lead to colic that's why they say for twenty minutes... Burp your baby after every feed well. <u>Tc</u>

Yep Richa. .tried lying down feeds.. worked but I tend to get drowsy so avoiding for now.
