hai all... my pediac told me to stop breast feeding as my lo is protein intolerant... it's been two weeks already that I stopped bf... starting my breasts used to be hard and I used to pump the milk... but now I am not at all feeling my breasts hard from past three days... is it an indication that my milk supply is reducing...?? are there any complications if I stop feeding....??

Yes once you stop feeding and pumping is also reduced it is going to reduce your milk supply. As you are not supposed to feed your baby breast milk from what I understand this is a natural process. It is better that your supply slows gradually and then stops as this will ensure that you don't get lumps which then have a chance of getting infected.

Your breast milk got stabilised to your baby's need. That's why no engorged breast.
