'Hands-On Dad'

;;

Hello mommies, this post is dedicated to my loving husband.;

;

Before my pregnancy, I used to have this discussion with my husband about baby and he will always say, “I AM NOT READY TO BE A DAD".; This made me upset but then even I was not sure about myself so never pushed him, we decided that when we both are ready then only we will plan.;

;

God had different plans though, we were planning for our summer vacation and next thing we know that "WE ARE PREGNANT”.

;

He took a minute to understand what is going on and did not utter a word but to my surprise, he was super happy.

;

Then onwards for every appointments, he came to the doctor with me, never missed even once. I could see that happiness on the first heartbeat and the excitement to feel the kick of our baby. We were alone that time for full pregnancy, so taking care of my cravings, mood swings to giving me foot massage he did it all with a smile.;

One thing he always used to say that waking up at night, cleaning poop, changing diaper and all is not my cup of tea. As my delivery date was nearby, I was anxious about how am I going to take care of my baby and that too all alone.

On 10 Jan 2019, he was holding my hand in the delivery room and there came our little bundle of joy our son Rajveer and with that a dad was born too, I could see the tears in his eyes.;
Since then, be it waking up a night to cleaning his poop, getting him ready, feeding and all, he loves to do it and with a smile. During my postpartum time, I could rest and have some sleep because he was there. Whenever we go out, he will baby wear him, I feel my son loves his dad more than me. Singing rhymes to him, putting him sleep he do everything n that to every day.

;

Initially, I was very confused about resuming work but then he pushed me that's why I could join back work because I know he will help me with the baby and other stuff. I go out with friends, attend events; office trips everything without a worry.;

When my hubby is back from office, my son just run towards him and then they are inseparable.;Love to see their special bond, the way they cuddle and play all day.

I am lucky to have a husband who cares for us, feel no shame in taking care of baby and not thinking it is a women job. I am so proud of him and happy that my son will learn this from his dad, “Raising a baby is a job of both mom and dad “it is "EQUAL PARENTING".

HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL.;
