#happy hours I always keep grated ginger at home. It comes very handy in these 4 ways. 1. You can add it for making masala tea. Adding grated ginger, elaichi, cinnamon and few black peppers while making tea, makes it very beneficial for cough, cold and headaches. 2. You can Squeeze grated ginger to get instant ginger juice. Take it in a spoon, add little honey, tulsi leaves juice and grated pepper and give to a child who is coughing badly. It gives instant relief. It can be given to children who are more than one year old. 3. If you have grated ginger you can add its juice to Lemonade's, lemon tea and juices to make them more beneficial. 4. Adding grated ginger to gravies not only makes them tastier but also makes them more digestible. Sharing a; Simple recipe that can be given to a new mother who has delivered a baby just couple of days back. Method 1. Take a kadai and add 1.5 table spoon oil. When hot add a pinch of hing, 1 tea spoon zeera and a pinch of ajwain to it. 2. Then add 2 table spoon grated ginger and saute for few seconds. Then add 2 cups water and let it boil on simmer. 3. Add salt to taste, a little red chilli powder to taste, 1 tea spoon coriander and 1/2 tea spoon zeera powder. 4. Let the mixture boil and add 4 table spoon roughly whisked curd and let it boil for 2 more minutes. Add fresh coriander and serve hot with rotis. It is very appetizing and beneficial in that condition. Zeera in it is good for lactation too. Moreover Benefits of ginger are:
