@6247946051de3d0014c4c1ce I haven't been through it but my mother and father-in-law has been through it. If it's a laparoscopy surgery and is done well by the doctor, it shouldn't take you more than a week to get back on your feet (Any post surgery recovery often depends upon how skillfully and neatly the doc has done his job). But as a thumb rule for anytime in the future, do not take a high quantity of fried or fatty food at one go - for example, 3 samosas, 4 puris etc, heavily greased biryani and so on. Eat in moderated amounts with high quantity of salads. Gall bladder is a little bucket which stores bile juice from the liver (drop by drop). Every time, the fatty food comes for digestion, it pours out. In the absence of gall bladder, the quantity of bile made available at one time will be low (will come directly from liver in drops, the storage organ will be gone). You can eat everything but fats in moderation (your body will tell you how much is good for you) else you will tend to get acidity/ bloating etc..
