Having mood swings, irritability, difficult times when making decisions, or crying episodes within a few days of childbirth could be a part of postpartum depression. Where the first thing you say during these difficult times to people is “I want to be with myself, leave me alone” this shouldn’t mean an isolation phase for yourself.
Taking a ‘Me time’ in a day and being with yourself is a good way to collect your thoughts. Do what you like, rest, go out for a walk, read a nice book, meditate, or give yourself time to calm down and get better. Utilize this time to get better and come out of this depression. But avoid isolating yourself in that time and pushing yourself more and more into depressive thoughts.
Understand the difference between the two and make the right choice!
