8-9 hours is a long gap I would say... Approx 4 to 4 n a half hour is ideal to offer feed to the baby... However if the baby isn't waking up after 4 hours, don't push it too hard... U r blessed that means n enjoy ur sleep... I know of some babies who sleep without interruption

At 3 months a baby is quite sorted for his hunger needs... U can breastfeed on demand and look for hunger cues during d day... At nights it's alright if the baby sleeps a little longer.. He would definitely wake up and bother ur sleep when he is hungry... So don't worry about waking him up every 2 hours or so...

Whether he is formula fed or breastfed, feed him on demand.
