hello all..  Am 5th month of pregnancy.. am havng very bad tooth ache.. i think i have to pluck my tooth then only my pain will gone away.  is it safe during pregnancy?  dos it harm my baby?  kindly advise..  cant even take food its irritating.. tooth pain leads to ear pain also..  dnt knw how to manage? totally worried.  😕

Consult your gyno along with dentist. Mention him that you are carrying. certain painkillers and anaesthetic dose they may avoid. Meanwhile you can keep a clove on that affected tooth...to numb the region. ( do it only if you are comfortable). Take care.

Tooth related problems are common in pregnancy due to hormone changes, however consult a dentist, as it can lead to infection....&nbsp; a simple cleaning can also get a great relief. Dont forget to inform him/ her that ur pregnant.

I have a similar prob (21 weeks pregnant), showed it to the dentist who wrote down <u>procedures</u> required, then I got my gyanecs consent for the same. . for x-ray, my gyanecs insisted the dentist uses a lead shield.
