Hello all. My baby Myansh will be 9 months tomorrow. He is on FM and semi solid diet. In the night he demands bm and uses it as a pacifier till he is not able to sleep. Since I hv gradually reduced my bm session in the day to just one am not so sure about my milk supply in the night. I feel after a while he keeps sucking on empty breasts .. gets irritated.. cries uncontrollably and now with two tiny teeth he bites me terribly that it pains for 3-4 days.
I had planned to bf till 1 year but with this sudden stubborn behavior of his should I start weaning him in the night too. If so.. how to do that? Bcoz he gets very stubborn and keeps on crying loudly. Dis happens all night if he wakes up in between. Is it too early to think about weaning or can I think about it

Hi Honey it's quite natural to suck for comfort and bite, When he bites immediately unlatch him and say No sternly, don't feed for few minutes, repeat this whenever he bites he will understand in no time and stop biting. Night nursing is so important Honey , I know how difficult it is but for the sake of baby. It's not easy for them as well and that comfort suckling is doing so goodness to them. I have been exclusively breastfeeding my daughter for past 16 months and I know how it is.
