Hi
;
Pregnancy is a major concern because you want to know that you are doing everything right for the new life that you are responsible for. Here’re some tips for all the pregnant women (from my personal experiences and study based):
;
Check with your gynecologist and do everything which helps you stay healthy, improve your circulation, and reduce leg cramps. This will help you sleep better and fight insomnia.

;
Drink lots of fluids during the day, but cut down before bedtime. Stay hydrated.

;
To prevent heartburn, which is common during pregnancy, do not eat large amounts of spicy, acidic, junk or fried foods. If heartburn is a problem, sleep with your head elevated on pillows. Avoid aerated drinks, it’s very harmful to you and your baby.

;
In the third trimester, sleep on your left side to allow for the best blood flow to the fetus and to your uterus and kidneys. Avoid lying flat on your back for a long period of time. This may cause discomfort to you and the baby. Whenever you sit, sit in the straight posture with back support to avoid back pain.

;
Try eating small, frequent meals throughout the day.. This helps avoid nausea by keeping your stomach full.

;
Special "pregnancy" pillows and mattresses may help you sleep better. Or use regular pillows to support your body.

;
Short naps may help to avoid stress and be active.

;
Learn to relax with relaxation and breathing techniques, which can also help when the contractions begin. A warm bath or shower before bed can be helpful. Practice yoga if possible.

;
Talk to your doctor if you develop medical problems or incase you have any discomfort during pregnancy.

;
Try not to eat seafoods, ;though it says that, they contain omega 3 fatty acids and required for brain development of the baby, still fishes contain mercury, a toxic metal that can cause serious nervous system damage.

;
All the above advice comes from doctors and other health professionals. However, I suggest always seeking the direct advice of your own doctor in connection with any questions or issues you may have regarding your own health or the health of others.
Thanks so much for your kind words..as the 6 month has started she should now be taking more fluids and proteins so that the baby weight increases..also all tests, scans, and supplements given by doctor should be religiously followed, a monitoring of baby movements should be there, adequate water and also should take rest..be happy, read good books, listen to music, walk a bit after meals..avoid constipation and gassy foods..take pillow support, try to lie on left side..
