Shilpa, this is diabetic and pre diabetic fasting sugar range, post meal should be less than 140, correlate with your doc, its good to control it below 140..

Doctors usually prescribe metformin based tablet to co trol sugars during pregnancy, i have taken it during my 4 months duration, should be fine to take..beyond 34 weeks if the sugar levels still remain high, no other option than insulin shots, so try and follow the medicine that doc has given..
