Hey Mom need not worry, you need to go slow in this manner. I understand your state of mind but if gets difficult some times. Ensure you can never go too slowly, but be sure to drop only one feeding every three or four days so that it takes about two weeks for the entire process. Drop the least preferred feedings first, which likely means the morning and bedtime feedings will be the last to go.. Also see that Drop one breastfeed at a time, and wait a few days before you drop the next one. ... Consider dropping daytime breastfeeds first, then gradually drop any bedtime or night-time feeds – these are probably the ones that give your child the most comfort..
