Hello doctor, my daughter is 2 yrs 2 months old. From last 2 days she is having fever so as advised by doctor I was giving her 3ml of fepanil-250. Yesterday I consulted doctor that is on 2nd June evening and they said that fever is because of stomach infection. From yesterday night onwards my daughter was neither eating anything nor drinking . As advised by doctor I started giving her syrup cefolac 100 and tablet lasma 4 mg from today onwards. Just few hours before i have realised that she is having mouth sores all over her mouth and quite large one in the back of the mouth. Please advise

Give your child over-the-counter (OTC) medicines, such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen, to treat pain and fever. Don't give ibuprofen to children age 6 months or younger. ... Cold liquids, ice, or frozen juice bars may help soothe mouth pain. ... Liquid antacid 4 times a day may help ease the pain.

Mouth ulcers usually look like round, white sores on the inner lining of your child's mouth, or on the surface of your child's gums or tongue. These sores can be painful, especially when your child eats salty or spicy foods. Sometimes your child might even refuse food until the ulcers start to heal.
