Hello Dr,this is Josielyn from Philippines,aged 41yrs.Having 2 kids, normal delivery,aged 5&3. I'm 3 months pregnant now and i was bleeding and now still spotting and taken down syndrome test resulted +ve. I worry much as will my baby will be good or not. I have advised to take Amino Centesis that will decide my baby condition,my Gynee said. My stress level is increased now. Kindly give your opinion. Thanks.

Dear please plan a NIPT test soon..Also a chorion villus biopsy with a fetal Medicine expert at the earliest appointment.Pray for the best results .Genetics of baby is in mother nature's hands..We as health care providers can facilitate best available options.Some decisions are tough thought.Keep me posted surely.

If Down syndrome test is positive, better to abort the pregnancy.
