i am 4 or 5 weeks pregnant ( cant really say as of now because of my irregular cycles due to a misscarriage in april 2017) i also have a hypothyroid and take 100 mcg everyday. could somebody plz suggest like when should i increase my dosage or should i keep eating 100 till my doc appointments.the prob is where i am , takes ages to get docs appointments or test results. this worries me now cuz m scared if i lose my baby like last time cuz i kept eating 100 mcg till 6.5 weeks when i lost the baby. if there is any expert plz give me suggestion..would be really great. many thanks.

My suggestion is you wait till you get appointment from your gynic. Miscarriage doesn't happen only because of thyroid other reasons are also there. Heard of survival of the fittest? it applies in pregnancy as well. The healthy feotus will survive.

Take TSH test and check your level according to the given standards..

do u know that high tsh is not so much of a problem as much as a low tsh is?
my endocrinologist mentioned this in one of the appointments.
he said it is easier to conceive if u r b/w 7-8, rather than if you are on lower than .1
so my advice to you will be do not self medicate.
also did ur doctor do regular set of tests to find out the cause of previous miscarriage? if not then cause should be ascertained rather than thinking that it was due to thyroid.
pls take care and I wish you get ur appt super quick with the doctor
