Hello everyone,

I’d like to introduce myself...I am Sadaf, a blogger and article writer by passion, in my previous avatar I was a software engineer by profession, a doting mommy to an energetic two and a half year old daughter. I pen down on pregnancy, motherhood and parenting across leading parenting platforms in India. My goal is to simplify motherhood through my posts even in a tiniest way for stay at home mums and also working ones.

I was born in Saudi Arabia, moved to India when I was just three years old and ever since then India is my home. I live in heartthrob of the country, Hyderabad. A place that has given me everything, from nurturing my childhood to the person I’m today. I love to explore new places, meet new people, love to cook for my little one, believe in comfortable clothing and modest fashion, also have undying craving for food. Last but not the least, I am a family oriented person, without my husband and daughter life doesn’t sound meaningful to me..and I guess every married woman can relate to this!

I started blogging very recently but was determined to pave my way off a year ago, as I struggled breastfeeding my baby, gone through postpartum depression and a phase where I needed time to come back to normal. I couldn’t work like other mums as I had anxiety issues taking my girl, which is absolutely normal to have, so then I started to write down on motherhood which my daughter inspired me to do. My little girl her name is Simra, she is an energetic and full life toddler girl who motivates me each day to strive becoming a better person.

I prefer calling myself as a young mom, as I share my experiences and posts with you all...so you can find me as #young _momjournal . Would like to end this by saying, motherhood this thing didn’t come with a manual, battling each day to figure out surviving the very title of being a ‘mom’!
