Hello everyone... My baby is one week old. Last week I went through elective c section..today it's almost one week and still the pain in uterus is heavy.. it's like period cramps pains or sometime gastric pain...it's difficult for me to wake up from bed... Is it normal? I mean the pain in uterus last for how long..and is it normal to have this kind of pain after c section.
Dear usually pain in stiches sunsides even when discharge from hospital happens and yes taking sides..and discomfort is there.. but the pain and symptoms you are telling and also periods like cramps and pain in uterus should not be there..please consult your doctor for this..

It's quite normal but still I will suggest you not to ignore anything which is bothering you.. there is no harm consulting your doctor once.
