question
Hello everyone, today I read a comic article on gender wars of household chores. I was able to relate to most of them, as in I am always worried and planning for the whole day, keeping the house clean, deciding the menu, Shopping for baby, taking care of almost all the house chores. Hubby is always ready to help but only if asked for otherwise he thinks there is nothing much to do. Why is it like this? it is same with u too? how do u encourage ur hubby to do the chores on his own without asking for it? aren't we setting a wrong example for our kids? Share ur views here!

i am totally ok with the fact that my hubby does not help in kitchen because i would not be satisfied with the way things are done. for eg. once i asked him to chop some onions, he readily agreed. next i turn to find him with a knife in hand helmet on head to avoid tears! but when i am pressed for time, without telling he will sweep, mop, help with chopping, cutting etc. although it's extremely rare, those times, i am really grateful to him... besides he is the one who does all the grocery shopping and all. so he is doing a fair share too.. that said, i will teach my son to be independent in every way...
