My dr. Has recomended me to sleep on my side. At night I start with a side position but in the middle of the night when I wake up for toilet I find myself lying in straight position. I cant do anything in this. Can anyone tell if sleeping straight is harmful during pregnancy? As I have noticed that i feel severe pain in my lower back after getting up. When i change my position the backache goes off.

It is mostly recommended to sleep on your left side. But if unknowingly you change your position for just some time then no issues. But prefer sleeping on your sides esp left. The Right Sleeping Position During Pregnancy - Take This Advice to Get Some Sleep!

Yes sleeping on side is best; either left or right left is best baby get more nutrition from your body and; sleeping straight is not harmful but try on side as well;; when u feel u r straight tune to side ... that's fine I also used to sleep straight in my whole pregnancy but in 8-9th month I can't sleep straight left r right every position is difficult for me ... stay hydrated and stay healthy tc
