My sister did triple marker test which shows calculated risk for downs syndrome.
amniocentesis test is recommended by gyanc. I want know has anyone through this and Is there a risk in amniocentesis.
Her gyanc told to do an abortion. She has one son(normal) her age is 34yrs.
Report shows downs syndrome risk 1:99 which is increased risk..

amniocentesis carries a small risk fr a miscarriage. ur gynec may have told u this already. counselling is required to be done if u opt for the test- to discuss the benefits, risks, and what to do if results are positive

hello.. increased risk means there is more chances to have down's in baby.. consider- among 99, 1% risk is there.. doctor is ryt.. get an amniocentasis before going for abortion..
