Hello! I am 24 weeks pregnant. Few days back i did my anomaly scan and found that my baby has CCAM in his/her left lung. There is a huge mass covering 50% of the thoracic cavity which has caused the heart to shift towards right. I consulted with doctors regarding it. They have advised me to wait and watch until next scan within 3 weeks.
Is it a common phenomenon in fetus? What are its prognosis?
I would be greatful if any pediatric or gynae doctors would answer my question.
I am too stressed with this situation :-(
Looking forward to hearing from the expert Rupa

Please share your complete report if there are indication for fetal hydrops as well then the baby can suffer because you are 24 weeks only surgery is the only option if if it is covering 50% of the baby's lungs
