The level two scan is referred to as a more detailed anamoly scan and this is done around week 18. It will give greater detail about fetal anatomy and development. It is not compulsory and recommended by some doctors as a routine. It can be suggested if there is some abnormality seen in the regular scan. It is also a fun scan where you get to see your baby in greater detail. Discuss the same with your doctor and follow advise.
