Is burping after feed necessary...My baby starts crying when i try to burp her in sleep....Also she took out little milk 2 to 3 times today...what cud be the reason...

The sound of the burp is not important. Just need to hold baby upright for a few minutes. Yes it is important as it helps the release of air from the abdomen.
