question
Hello mommies

A couple of questions for you guys on weaning into solids

1. My paed suggested to avoid salt, sugar, ghee to my baby till he turns 1 year old. But I didn't check if I can use dry fruits like dried grapes/kissmiss and dates with homemade infant food to enhance the taste. Can I soak the dry fruits and use that soaked water while making the baby food? Is that a good thing to do?

2. On YouTube I see a lot of options of instant homemade cerelac where the process involves baking the base mixture into a biscuit and grinding them into a instant mix. Anyone tried this way of baking and is it safe? Since I start work in a month , I found instant homemade option better than the ones where I need to cook the food each time.

Hello shravani yes you can soak dry dates and add that water in baby's food, or else use Jagery or dry dates fine powder.<br> And I am not using any baking technique to prepare baby food, but yes I have prepared homemade cerelac for my baby, as I am working so my mom is prepares that daily and is giving to baby, if you prepare daal rice wala cerelac so it will be ready within 5 minutes, so make that, and keep in air tight container, take care
