Hello Mommies and mommy to be. I am really delighted to be taking over today. It is a pleasure to connect with you all. Hope this dialogue between us will be beneficial to all of us.

My name is Divya and I am from the city of Taj - Agra but now living in Delhi for almost 10 years. Brand Manager by profession and freelancer at heart

I was born in a huge joint family where almost 50 people lived together ( my 3 grandfathers families). My parents had love marriage and had a really romantic love story.

I was the only girl in my family going to a convent school where my other cousins were studying in public schools. This was a privilege and a complex at the same time. In my school I was always trying to cope up with my classmates bcz they were from good rich families and I came from a family where getting food for 3 times was a challenge but my mother and father were working very hard to make both ends meet and they wanted me to get everything what they were not able to get.

I scored well in 10th standard and took science as my intermediate course. Life was going pretty good . My father has bought a house but I decided to live with my grandparents and not with my parents. I use to go and stay with them every weekend.

But suddenly my father passed away at an age of 40 and life just stopped breathing. My mother was in a state of shock and the whole family was stunned. Everybody was asking my mother to get me married as soon as possible and sell the new house and go to our nani place because in most families there is no place in sasural if your husband dies.

My grandparents and especially my grandma was the only one supporting my mother in all decisions.

Yes.. a lady was supporting a lady and that's what we all moms at babychakra do. Who is your pillar of strength ?? Does your mother in law treats you more than your daughter .
Stay tuned to know my story and to know why I was asked to leave school

Looking forward to know more about you and Kavya! <br> My mil was looking for a person to approve and validate her thoughts, feelings and nudge her a bit. She seeks a companion.. Not a daughter. My fil treats me as his own daughter. It feels good at times
