Hello mommies, can anyone pls share some food or recipes that can be given to bring taste n interest in eating during fever in toddlers. My son is 1.7 yrs old.

Today's dinner was a light vegetable soup and garlic bread!!.. sometimes I keep it light..<br>
This soup is not only nutritious and tasty but is very good for people who are suffering from viral infections and a runny nose. <br>
Ingredients (for 3-4 servings)<br>
1. 2 tomatoes roughly chopped<br>
2. Roughly chopped (1/2 capsicum, 1/2 carrot, 1 potato, 1 onion, few garlic cloves, small piece of ginger, beans, bottle gourd)<br>
3. Half chopped apple with skin<br>
4. 2-3 tbsp any pulse (masoor, moong, arhar)<br>
5. Salt and pepper to taste<br>
6. 2 tsp sugar (this is to cut sourness of tomatoes and other veggies)<br>
Method<br>
1. Add all vegies to a pressure cooker. Add 2-3 cups water and on simmer cook it till 3-4 whistles. Let steam get released.<br>
2. Churn the mix and strain it. In a pan heat it, add salt, pepper and sugar.<br>
Serve hot with some bread. I wanted it light but one can also put a tadka of oil or butter or ghee and add little zeera and a pinch of hing. I sometimes also add khadaa masala like cloves, peppercorns, tej patta and cinnamon in cooker first in oil. Then add veggies and cook. Then churn everything and then add tadka.<br>
This soup is very good for kids.<br>
