The difference between LMP based EDD and USG based EDD occurs becz nothing can predict actual ovulation date or fertilization date. The most accurate gestational period can be predicted from the very first usg report done within 8 to 10 weeks. Later every baby grows differently due to different factors. In USG they use averages of; accumulated data to determine a baby's growth. If u have done ur first USG within 10 weeks then it can predict the most accurate EDD. The second most trusted EDD is based on LMP.

Okay tq all.. but yesterday wn i went fr check up doctor said its 32 weeks 1 day and in scanning report it has given 31 weeks 5 days. It's really confusing fr me..
