Hello mommies is it okay to give cow milk to a 7 month old baby. Asking of behalf of my sister. She is not able to breastfeed her daughter and elders in the family have advised to give cow's milk..

Not until 1 year.<br> If baby is 7 months better to start on solids and try formula feed.<br> You can contact your pediatrician too

Doctor advised not to give until 1 year age. But you can cook foods with animal milk & start offering after 9 months. For now, please consult pediatrician for formula (probably stage 2 formula), or consult lactation specialist to take lactare capsules, powder, shatavari etc. If someone in the family is lactating & is producing plenty, they can pump some extra milk for your sister's baby, if willing.
