My baby is 18 months old and she has a habit of sleeping on my lap.. When she is very sleepy that time she cries and just want me to take her on my lap.. Then she sleeps in 5 minutes. And again after 2 hours she wakes up and when she realised that she is not in my lap, she cries a lot and then I have to take her again.. This happens in every 2 hours interval.. This is very tiring.and I am pregnant too.. I can't sit for longer time and move my lap up and down like jhula to make her sleep. Can you please tell me some tips to stop all this.. I will definitely work on this. Please suggest.

You have to sleep train him. Just switch off the lights of the room, close the curtain and make sure nobody comes in room. Then pretend that you are sleeping and don't talk to him. Fir some time or days he will cry. Just ask him to come and sleep don't react too much. Slowly he will become habitual of this (almost in a week). I tried this same thing with my son, he was also habitual of swinging motion but my mother suggest me and it worked. Most of the kids of this age start sleeping this way. Try this, in start he will try to wake up you, or cry or or run down from bed (if he do so just hold his leg carefully) so that he won't go down.
