Hello mommies.. my LO is 80 days old..she s completely on breastfeeding..nowadays she spits up milk after each feeding..she does it before too but not everytime..sometimes it looks curdy and sometimes she just spits milk (i can understand thats excess feed she had taken)..she burps and also spits up..during night am not making her burp cos she gets up if i do so and not sleeping thereafter..is that the reason for her to spit??!!pls correct me if i am wrong and suggest me some remedy ..

hi, spitting milk is absolutely normal. but plz do make her burp or Keep her head a bit raised. curdy type of milk spited is a gud sing it means that the milk which she had last is digested now. <br> at night if she wakes up while burping then keep her on ur lap make her a bit raised for about 10mins that will be enough.

spitting some milk every time u burp is ok.do not worry.if it's more just burp her once in the middle of feed.burping during night is also necessary even if the baby wakes up or it may lead to gas formation and colic.<br> feed the baby slightly in a slanting position.u can keep a pillow on lap for this.take care

Spitting a curd type substance is absolutely normal. Ensure to burp the baby after every feed and keep the baby in vertical position on your shoulder for around 20 mins.
