Hello mommies!!

So I was reading a lot about healthy lifestyle adopted by the kids lately. A healthy lifestyle is essential for both, nutrients and energy to the kids. With good food habits and daily physical activity you will be well on your way to a healthy life. I know with kids sometimes it's easy to say, not easy to do!!!

I personally prefer my child's involvement in everything, whether it's learning, eating, playing, weaning and lot more things.

So with a little experience I have , I would really love to share some of the tips which can help in leading a healthy lifestyle for you children. 1.Eating:

As I said, with good eating habits you will be on your way to healthy life. It's not an easy task to set a routine and discipline to kids, when it comes to food. It's not impossible though. What you can do is:

👶Set a routine of 5-6  meals a day, including fruits n snacks.

👶Treat water as your drink. Keeping them well hydrated is important in all season.

👶Don't restrict to any food group. But avoid sugary items and limit fried things

👶 Decide food but let them decide the portion.

👶Let them be more independent while eating. You may have to clean your dining area again n again, but it's ok. after sometime they will learn to eat properly.

👶 Increase their interest in food. Let them enjoy meal time.

👶 Make eating together as a family affair.

👶Talk about food while having it. Get them involved while cooking. Show them how to cut fruits, veggies. Increase kitchen time.

👶Don't force. But don't forget to reward when they finish the plate. Reward must be your love and attention, not another food item.

👶 Respect their taste n choices. Don't force to eat particular food which you think is healthy.

👶 Let them feel the texture of food. If they want to feel the dal n rice by rubbing it on thighs, it's ok sometimes. 2.Sleeping

🌜Early to bed early to rise, makes you healthy wealthy and wise!!

🌜Don't forget to set the routine. It's hard  initially, but once the time is set up, you won't be needing to do anything else.

🌜 You can choose some music to put them to sleep and relax.

🌜Set up the place where you want them to sleep.

🌜 Children observes so much. Set certain clues for them to identify that it's a sleeping time. Behavioural transformation also comes under healthy. 3.Behaviour

😇 Patience is the key!!! Keep Patience, because if you loose it, situations can get worst.

😇Power of a subconscious mind!!! When they are  little dizzy, talk to them in lowest voice. Things like, what you want them to do in life or how much you love e them, or simply any positive thing.

😇Teach them to respect and listen. Use sorry, thank you often.

😇 Restrict the use of NO keep it's importance safe. Tell in a positive words.

😇Expain them the consequences of bad behavior. Rather than shouting, tell them silently.

😇 Don't restrict their play time with other kids just because they are not behaving well. Give a warning. Stop playing for few minutes give a warning and then resume.

😇 Introduce them to mother nature. Let them talk to plants, feel them by touching the flowers, leaves, stems. Tell them how to take care of them.

😇 Explain them an importance of sharing, caring, loving. If it's a single child, while playing you play the role of other child and tell him to share with you, whatever he eats, whatever he is playing, share.

Child led learning will always be a good option for their over all development. They observe too much.  Let them. Be a role model. Do what you want them to do and as sadhaguru says, BEFORE YOU RAISE YOUR KIDS, RAISE YOUR SELF AS A PARENTS!!! Happy parenting!!!
