question
Hello mommies..I have a question but this time it's related to Mumma me 😀 Let's count it as a weekend fun question..

I want to get my hairs cut short...I mean very short. I always had very long hairs, till my post grad they would fall upto my knees, though I was never fond of long hairs but compliments from everyone convinced me to not cut them.

The first time I got the courage to cut down the length was during my 1st job as it was getting difficult to manage and because I could never try any new hairstyle apart from a long braid. So I got them trimmed till my hips.

Second time I got a cut was when I got married and this time I reduced the length till waist.

Now I am realising that not only long hairs are a problem for me, it's also the volume and texture that create problems. I don't know how I am managing them with baby...it's always a heavy bun at home which would give me headache many times.

But because my mom gets really really emotional whenever I talk about a haircut, I avoided getting one soon after the baby.

Now the point is, Aug is my bday month and I want a hair cut as a gift for myself, will use the same excuse to convince my mom. And because my life's 1st half has seen all long braids and heavy buns, I want to go for really short hairs now.

Please give me some positive push so that I can fulfill my crazy dream now.

My question is- what are the pros and cons of having short hairs? What shortest length will be good to make a small bun too? Would love to hear ur views and experiences.

In the pic- Both left pics are of PC and I am thinking of getting a cut similar to one of her's and to the right it's me (3 months pregnant) 😁

I know I am late to reply. I would have also suggested to get a haircut as it is always good to experiment. Although you have to be audacious to take such a step as you have such wonderful long hair. I am planning to have my hair coloured and get a nice tattoo done but have to hold back due to pregnancy. Will fulfill it once the baby is there.
