Hi Neha. You must check with your pediatrician on what could be the ideal age to get the mundan done. There is a part on the head in the centre towards the front which will be very tender at this point. It takes about a year or in some cases a little longer for that part to harden. So if you can put off the mundan till that time nothing like it but if you have to do it before she completes one year, then take your pediatrician's advice. Make sure that the blade the barber is using is sterlised in front of you

If it is a tradition to be followed before 1yr to do mundan, I would suggest to wait and get it done in 11th month.. Baby's head would be very tender and soft now.
