Hello Mom's, my 2 year daughter does not say regular communication words but keeps on repeating ABC rymes and other rhymes. I am really concerned as she doesn't look much interested in communicating. Please suggest/share experience.
Thanks!
Megha

Hi, buddy, I suggest you give a break for screening. You can tell stories, sing rhymes and play games that's how the communication develops.

Hi Megha As sonam suggested please stop her from watching TV , Speak with her often, keep asking her questions. Take her to play area where olders kids are there.

Hii megha, is she learning ABC rhymes from Tv? If yes you need to stop. According to speech therapists if they see television they make it their world... They will talk to the characters and will think they are one of them... You will need to make her more attentive like give her books, but there should be just one picture on one page. Scribble together, solve puzzles, skates rings, blocks.. Talk talk and talk... Use simple and short words. Try to produce some sounds from your mouth so that baby looks at you and then repeat the words...She will learn lipsing... Else, final option is to visit the speech therapist. A psychological assessment too might be needed.<br>
And yes, don't worry at all... It's Quite normal these days. Baby will do good.
