Anon, I too had an IUGR baby... And baby's weight decreases first and then starts increasing...So, that's the thing...Your baby must have lost weight when you got the baby back home...And then started regaining. And tell me, would you feel nice to see the baby vomiting everytime? Why to overfeed. Just give breast milk if you are giving. Even if you are preferring formula I would say don't increase 30 ml at a time... Baby will slowly start gaining weight. It completely depends on you now, what you want to choose.
After all weight doesn't Matters at the end trust me.

@5fedec01cccb6d0014097596 baby was on formula feed for 1 week in starting due to my c sec. After that baby is on bf and she is on constant weight 2.46 and 2.49. Doc is saying this might be the issue of feeding as with formula she was on 2.52. He asked me to expressed milk or formula after bf but I don't have that much milk supply so that I can expressed 30 to 60 after bf and I have to give formula.

Anon baby is not even 1 month old and they will not gain weight in first 40 days or gain very less. You have done a great job that with your milk alone baby has gained weight. I don't know why you doctor asked you to give formula but it's definitely not a good idea, if I'm in your place I will consult a breastfeeding friendly doctor. It's a clear case of over feeding and this will result in colic pain because bottle is going to send more air inside baby's tummy, Formula will also cause constipation." Breast is best" breast milk is tailor made for human babies and more than enough to nourish your baby.
