hello ..my baby is 1 n half month old.. i do breastfeed her.. bt dese days milk is nt cumin dat much.. everytim firstly i breasfeed her.. bt vn only she cries i giv formula milk... i m nt getting it hw many tims i shld giv formaula milk.. as i m nt realizing dat frm my feeding baby s stomach s full r nt..kindly help ladies

It is best to not give formula as exclusive breast feeding is best for the baby. Keep track of how many times the baby passes urine. If it is a minimum of seven per day then breast milk is sufficient. Also get the weight check of the baby. If baby is gaining weight well then breast milk is sufficient. Make sure baby is latching well and getting enough of the hind milk which is more prominent in the later half of the feed. This also helps to satiate the baby.
