Hello, my daughter 2 months old now gained about 500 grams till she was 45 days. Doctor recommended that breastfeed is not enough hence need to give formula milk.

Giving her with a guilt. Is it OK.. will she have normal growth... I hope she will not lack anything immunity wise or otherwise. Please suggest

Breastfeeding is always the best for babies. But it's also fine if you have to depend on formula if needed. I used Aptamil as per my paed suggested and worked out well for my son. It has prebiotics and is good for gut health. I would suggest you check once again with a paed.

Hi please do not fall for this trap, your guilt is true. They dont need anything except breast milk. It's a normal weight gain, you drink plenty of water and feed the baby every 2 hours till the baby reaches 5 kg, after that feed on demand. Please change your Paediatrician.
