There are confectioners that you can order from, where they use organic colours with no chemicals, search such places if you are worried about giving her. 
As a matter of fact you would not feed her a whole piece so it's not an issue even if it's a normal cake too

I don&rsquo;t think a little bit is going to do any harm to her
